As reported in today's Daily Business Review- Rockwood Capital has won a bid to take title to the unsold condomimium units from Aventura-based Cabi Developers.  Cabi, an arm of Gicsa, one of Mexico’s largest real estate developers, is led by the Cababie family.  The marketing of the note occurred as Cabi Developers’ affiliate Cabi Downtown sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to reorganize its debt.   Cabi Developers will continue the on-site management of the condominium buildings, thus assuring residents and owners experienced, high quality, and consistent property management.
