Miami Children’s Museum (MCM) is a nonprofit institution committed to enriching children’s lives in Miami’s multicultural community by promoting a love of learning and encouraging children to reach their potential. Visitors of all ages to MCM are invited to play, imagine, create, and learn. MCM offers art-related learning materials, interactive community exhibits, and cultural programs designed to foster all-around interests.

Castle of Dreams
Students climb all over a two-story sandcastle and see, touch, and learn about sands from all around the world

Children walk through a massive six-foot bank, design bills, and learn about saving, spending, and earning money
Health & Wellness Center
Kids discover healthy habits such as good nutrition and exercise and how learning them at a young age can lead to a lifetime of fit minds and bodies.
Pet Central
Learn how to care for pets at home and which pet is the perfect one for your family.
Safety Zone
Students dress like a real-life hero and learn what life is like helping others by riding on a police motorcycle or steering a fire truck to the rescue.
Supermarket
Kids harvest their favorite Florida fruits and shop for ingredients to create a tasty treat.
Meet Miami
Students explore any of Miami’s diverse neighborhoods and learn what it’s like in another culture.
The Sea and Me
Designed especially for youngsters under five years old, kids explore a sea of wonder and enjoy water play.
Ocean Odyssey
Investigate the mysteries of the deep blue sea and have a look inside the Museum’s huge 900-gallon tank.
Everglades Park
Students imagine living like and alligator or soaring like an osprey while exploring the Everglades.
You and Me and Teddy Bears Too!
An interactive exhibit where students learn how to respect and appreciate others by using teddy bears in special displays in a bear workshop.
Port of Miami
Students follow products as they come into and go out of the harbor and learn how to operate a crane.
Cruise Ship
Students navigate a cruise ship and learn what happens on a cruise, from helping customers to carrying bags to limbo dancing.
All About Art
Students become artists and use artists’ tools and techniques to interpret the world as they see it.
World Music Studio
Students visit a recording studio, learn different music styles from other cultures, and practice on instruments of their choice.
Mt. MiChiMu
Students conquer their fears and climb to the summit of Mt. MiChiMu, a challenging rock wall!
Seth’s Construction Zone
Students learn to use cranes, bulldozers, wheelbarrows, and more as they incorporate elements of an authentic construction zone.
MiChiMu Summer Games
MiChiMu’s Summer Games is an exhibit encompassing 2,500 square feet that celebrates the the spirit and culture of the Summer Olympic Games. Interactive exhibits include history and geography as well as multiple fitness challenges that focus on agility, fitness, and strength. Interactive components offered include:
• Traditional Torches: visitors light the torch flame and try to keep it going
• Ring Puzzle, Leap Across America and Reach for the Gold: competitors learn geography, distances, and conversions
• Fantastic Gymnastic: guests test their skills on a balance beam or in the fun gymnastics area
• Triathlon Tryouts: competitors swim, bike, and run through a unique triathlon course
• Bounce Your Way to Victory: kids bounce through a tough obstacle course bounce house
• Olympic Glory Photo Opportunity: guests choose a country and national anthem, then have a photo taken with a gold medal.
