If the sale is completed, the fabulous property will be the 3rd most expensive homes ever sold in the Miami area. The property features 4 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and a private rooftop with a pool and a spacious desk. Initially listed for $19 million, Penthouse 2 is still under contract and the real price hasn’t been revealed.

In less than 2 months, another 2 condos in Miami were sold for more than $16 million. The first condo was a marvelous penthouse at Continuum and the price was estimated at $25 million, a clear record of the Miami’s South of Fifth borough. The properties from Continuum were sold in the months of April and May. Rumor has it that Penthouse 2 decided to raise the bar and increase its listing price to $29 million from the initial price of $25. However, sources are saying that the sale is still pending.

$25 million penthouse for sale, a visible record for Miami Beach

According to New York Times, a triplex penthouse has been recently sold for an exorbitant amount of $25 million at the South Beach’s Continuum condo complex. The deal was closed on May 18, and the record was set by Alex Birkenstock, a member of the Birkenstock family who sells shoes. The amount exceeds the previous record of $21.5 million for a Setai South Beach condo sold by Kim Clark, the Netscape founder.
